Styles


	Hearing aids can be classified into three major styles:

	In-the-ear style:
	In-the-ear hearing aids are small in size and barely visible. In-the-ear hearing aids can be further classified into completely-in-the-canal (CIC), in-the-canal (ITC) and in-the-ear (ITE) models.

	Behind-the-ear (BTE) style:
	Behind-the-ear hearing aids hang behind the ear and operate with a tailor-made earmould. Behind-the-ear hearing aids suit for all age groups.



	Pocket-talker style:
	Pocket-talker style hearing aids offer very powerful amplification and are suitable for people with poor manual dexterity and poor vision.
